Mary Saunders Powell joined Capital Associates in 2007 to manage eight office/research and development buildings at Keystone Technology Park in Durham adjacent to Research Triangle Park.
Mary’s past commercial real estate experience includes management of several Class A office complexes throughout the triangle area including The Landmark Center, The Horizon at Six Forks, The Commonwealth Centre and various flex buildings on behalf of Contech Partnerships. Additionally, Mary worked extensively with contract, lease and construction administration during her tenure with Robert G. Snyder Contractors, Inc., a design build construction firm based in Raleigh. Most recently, Mary served for 13 years as President / CEO of Construction Support Services, Inc., providing consulting services to small and mid-sized construction and construction related entities throughout North Carolina.
Mary is a licensed NC Real Estate Broker, a Notary Public, Certified Paralegal and has obtained the designation of Real Property Administrator. In December 2009, Mary received her State Certification for Stormwater Inspection and Management. She is a 1983 graduate of the University of Cincinnati where Mary majored in accounting and business administration.
