Tripp joined Capital Associates in 1995. He has arranged numerous office, flex and retail lease and sale transactions. Tripp is responsible for the marketing and leasing of Class A office properties throughout the Triangle including The Summit, Springfield Place and Medical Plaza at Rex in Raleigh, Weston I and II, Tryon Office Center in Cary, Keystone Technology Park along RTP’s I-40 corridor and The Exchange at Meadowmont in Chapel Hill.
Tripp has been involved in commercial real estate in Raleigh since 1986, leasing projects in the Research Triangle area and Eastern North Carolina. Inxx 1989, he became associated with Developers Diversified, a national real estate investment trust. While there, he focused on the day-to-day leasing and management of retail space. He was responsible for the successful leasing and marketing of the company's 1.4 million square feet of new construction in North Carolina. Tripp has served on the Board of Directors of TRAOBA (Triangle Area Office Building Association) and TCAR (Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors).
He was President of TCAR in 1999, and awarded the 2004 TCAR Realtor of the Year. He is also active in the community, having served as a member of the Raleigh Transit Authority, Wake Medical Foundation's President's Circle, Raleigh Jaycees, Raleigh Board of Realtors, Council for Entrepreneurial Development, Meals on Wheels of Wake County and Hugh O'Brian Youth Foundation of North Carolina. Tripp currently serves on the Frankie Lemmon School Board of Directors and the Raleigh Housing Authority. He is a graduate of East Carolina University and a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina and South Carolina.
